Vehicle Detail

Rare Rust-Free, Stock, Unmolested SSP Mustang Former Florida Highway Patrol car, sold at auction and bought by an owner in North Carolina who used it as a daily driver. He maintained it well and kept it mostly stock aside from the mufflers and a few small pieces. All items removed have been kept with the car. I bought it from him last year and kept it in North Carolina. Reluctantly selling, but between 2 kids and 2 other Mustangs I have not had enough time to enjoy this car. It drives exceptionally strong, which was one of the main reasons I bought it. I was looking for a stock SSP, factory 5 speed, and this one ran better than my previous 93 Foxbody with 65k miles. Please test drive if that's feasible, but if not I will upload a video of a short test drive. It is very quick and a lot of fun to drive. New items on the car include tires, shocks, struts, clutch cable, newer clutch and battery. It has a newer HD radio with USB port which is great for charging and playing music through your phone. The original radio was kept and included. The paint is a 10-20 footer as shown in the pictures, but is peeling in some spots. I planned to re-paint it in the FHP colors, so this wasn't a big concern. AC and heat aren't great, but I have only driven it in nice weather so I haven't needed or diagnosed. Other minor odds and ends, though tolerable: small oil leak, door pins could use replacement (I have new ones included), and it has the normal Ford power steering whine. It's only been in one minor accident, which is remarkable for an SSP car. That accident was a small dent in the original hood (pictured below), and it was replaced. I have that original hood, included in the sale. It has always been a southern car and is completely rust free. I included a few pictures of the undercarriage. Always adult owned and driven. Please let me know if you have any questions. This will make a great SSP to enjoy now and restore later, or a very clean canvas to restore now. Thank you for looking. Please see feedback in my profile. Thank you.On May-20-14 at 17:38:53 PDT, seller added the following information: I've received a couple questions a few times each, so I'll share here with everyone. 1. What is the reserve? I actually just went to remove the reserve price, but it wouldn't let me. I dropped it to $1 over the current bid so that it will be automatically removed then. Hope this helps. Sorry, there is no buy-it-now price, will just go to the highest bidder. 2. What is the circle in the center of the dash? This is where the FHP equipment was mounted. I made sure to include a picture of it in the listing. The previous owner "capped" it. Please e-mail me if you have any questions. I'm happy to provide my phone number as well. Thank you.
