You are bidding on a 1970 Camaro pro-touring project car. This car has an interesting history. I loaned it to Foose and the Overhaulin' TV show team for the 1970 Camaro build they did in Season 2. They needed a 1970 Camaro to use to fabricate interior and body part templates while the "mark's" vehicle was out for media blast and bodywork. I happened to have one, and happened to be on the set that day. The car was a running/driving vehicle at the time it was used for the show. It had a Muncie 4 speed and a 350 small block. As you can see from the VIN it was built at the Van Nuys California plant. To my knowledge it never left California, it resides there today. The car became a frame-off rotisserie project. The car was disassembled, media blasted, body seams re-welded for strength, blocked, sanded, primered and made ready for paint. The subframe was welded for reinforcement and all new poly bushings installed per recommendations of pro-touring master Mark Stielow who I had over to the shop to take a look at it. New cowl hood, I think it has a 4" rise. Mini-tubs installed. Hundreds of man-hours went into stripping and prepping the car to this point. Unfortunately probably $10,000+ worth. The car has been kept in a hot dry environment in Barstow, California . There is some rust here as you can see in the pictures but it is light surface rust that can be sanded out. I have not inventoried the spare parts in it. It is mostly original stuff with a few new odds and ends. I lost the paperwork on this car but will guarantee clean title and provide bill of sale.
