WELL, I'M BEING FORCED TO RELIST THIS MOTORCYCLE: BEFORE BIDDING, CONSIDER THESE QUESTIONS AND REFRAIN FROM BIDDING IF YOU ANSWER "NO" OR "I DON'T KNOW" TO ANY OF THEM:*IF I WIN, DO I HAVE A 100% SURE WAY OF GETTING THIS MOTORCYCLE TO MY HOUSE?*DO I HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY FOR THIS?*DO I REALIZE THE BIKE IS A PROJECT BIKE AND DOES NOT RUN?*DO I REALIZE THAT THE SELLER WILL NOT/CANNOT SHIP OR TRANSPORT THE MOTORCYCLE TO ME?*DO I REALIZE THAT BY BEING THE TOP BIDDER I HAVE ENTERED INTO A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT TO BUY THE MOTORCYCLE?ALL INTERESTED PARTIES - I AM GOING TO LET THE AUCTION TAKE PLACE, I WILL NOT ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT SELLING THE BIKE OUTSIDE OF THE AUCTION FOR $300 - PLEASE DON'T MESSAGE ME WITH THOSE TYPES OF REQUESTS (UNLESS YOU WANT TO GIVE ME $5,000 FOR IT OR SOMETHING)COSMETIC CONDITION/MECHANICAL COND ITION – TITLE - NJ Title is good, no salvage, theft, etc...FRAME – Surface rust only TANK – Dented, paint is in poor condition. Inside of tank is good, I POR’d it and it has a new lining, new petcock. SEAT – Ripped, needs recovered (I used the ever popular duct tape) INSTRUMENTS – Good shape, old but serviceable. SIDE COVERS – Missing one of them, virtually unfindable on ebay (I tried). ENGINE – Runs, I had the bike running early on in the process but decided to rebuild carbs and never got it running again. I never checked compression so I can’t promise that it’s within spec. I have a video of the bike running if need be. TIRES (OR TYRES FOR YOU BRITS) – New, I replaced them. BRAKES – New pads, new master cylinder. Need to be put back together, brakes bled, etc… CHAIN – Good shape, cleaned and lubed. TRANSMISSION – No idea, never got the bike on the road. CARB BOOTS – New, I replaced them (the ones that go to the airbox). THROTTLE CABLES – Replaced AIR FILTER – New FORKS – Rebuilt with progressive springs, stock fork oil. BOX OF PARTS – I have a box of parts both new and old that will go with the bike, two sets of carbs and more. I really don’t know everything that ‘s there but you’ll get the whole box. I would prefer that someone local to West Chester, PA but the bike so that I don’t have to work with a shipper, etc… but if it means a sale I would be willing to discuss meeting your shipping company for pickup. I will not transport the bike anywhere myself, even to meet a shipper. FINAL WORD – As you can see, I really put the cart before the horse on this project and made a lot of rookie mistakes in where I spent my money. I have now run out of time, my wife’s patience with my spending and space in my garage. I’m going to lose my shirt on this so bid away knowing you’re getting a great deal.
