Up for auction is my 1998 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Convertible. THE GOOD : 104,000 miles Interior in good condition with no rips and decent carpet 4-speed Auto tranny works great 27mpg highway Brand new rear tires New white convertible top works good and raises in 15 seconds by push button Pop-up lights work flawlessly All trim present THE BAD : The LS1 has developed a rattle at higher RPMS. I've had it looked by a couple of mechanics and most think it is a low end problem with need of further engine work. The car still runs and drives, but is NOT recommended for "trips". I am in the middle of a horrible new auto-immune ailment and cannot afford to have it fixed. My loss is someone's nice car. THE REST : The car is VERY shiny, but does have the scratches of a 14 year old vehicle. That said, there is no rust or major dents to speak of and a good buff-out would do wonders. Gets looks EVERYWHERE! The interior has a few faults - like the cupholder is broken and the steering radio controls do not work due to an aftermarket stereo, but there are no cracks anywhere, the roof is in great condition, and the seats are still rip-free (driver electric seat works too). The car is being sold AS-IS for obvious reasons, but I have been as accurate as I can be and am not selling junk. The car would be in my garage for all times if I were better, but I cannot do work with my condition. Please email with any questions and god bless!!
