Up for auction is this very nice Model A rumble seat coupe. It is restored to original about 8 yrs ago. Everything gone through at that time including engine, tranny, front end, paint and upholstery. The paint on the car is very nice with a few minor imperfections from normal use. It is all steel with absolutely no signs of patch panels or bondo. The top is redone and does not leak. The glass is all good, no cracks or seperation anywhere. The windows roll up and down very nicely. The doors, trunk lid and hood all close as they should. The car starts easily every time, idles smoothly, runs cool and does not smoke. It is very snappy and responsive as tuned perfectly with new plugs and wires. It goes down the road nice with no shimmying or wobbles. It drives down the road at 50 MPH using one finger on the wheel. The throttle and spark advance work as they should. All guages and lights work properly. The brakes have been redone and stop the car excellent. The tires are in good shape with good tread and no weather checking. They look almost new. The interior of the car looks new with no imperfections. It is done up with period correct materials and really looks sharp when you look inside.(see pics) This car is nice and clean throughout. The rumble seat area also looks great. The rumble seat is redone with the weather-resistant material and is clean & looks sharp. My two granddaughters really enjoy riding back there. The engine compartment is clean and detailed with no grease & grime.(see pics) Some of the extras on the car are: working blinkers(added safety), bug screen for outside of radiator, back windown that rolls down to allow you to talk with any passenger in the rumble seat, working fog lights, bar between back bumpers for hitch mounting, back up light. The bumpers look new and are stainless steel and not chrome plated. The car is nice and clean underneath as well. There is also a nice car cover included. The car has a moto-meter radiator cap to monitor the engine temp. The dash is nice and with wood grain garnich moldings that look sharp. The rubber on the ruinning boards is in nice shape. I've seen owners asking $14-$17K for a Model A Coupe in this condition, however, I have set the reserve under $12K, so it is affordable. I also put a buy it now for the buyer who likes it and doesn't want to wait until the end of the auction to own it. If you really like it that may be a wise move. A $500 non-refundable down pa yment is due to Paypal within 24 hours of t he end of the auction. The balance in full is due within 7 days of the end of the auction and WILL NOT be accepted into Paypal. The balance must be cash in person or paid as a wire transfer to our bank account. The buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for transportation or pick up of this vehicle. It can remain here for up to 30 days to allow for pick up or transportation. The buyer is responsible for any additional wiring fees on the buyers end.
