1969 OLDS VISTA CRUISER odometer: 47943 automatic transmission title : clean I set the old cruiser up on blocks and under cover over a decade ago. It was running fine at the time. A/C, cruise control, power rear window, everything all working. Green colored body still intact except for rear two way door has rust out in one spot. All glass intact except front cracked. Front bumper bent. Car is not pretty. Woody plastic is peeling paint chipped to primer. Original radio removed. Front seat is cracked, Carpet no good. Not driven on salty roads. This is a project car. Interior rough and mildewed. My family bought this car new from the Olds dealer in West Texas. As I recall it has the 350 CID with Rochester Quadrajet and heavy duty transmission. Odometer shows 47943. It has rolled over once. The engine was gone thru around 100,000. Three original hubcaps. The Texas title was lost in a house fire but still in my name. Receipt provided but additional costs to get duplicate Texas title. If your interested in this original " Land Barge " please contact The Cruiser has a rarely used trailer hitch and electric brake controller. Dash and instruments are intact but faded. In the interest of honesty I should further clarify...the engine has not been started since put up on blocks over a decade ago. Everything was working at the time. It is extremely unlikely it would run if gas and a battery were installed under it's present condition. The oil and filter were changed before set up. I hooked up a weak battery and amazingly the rear window rolled down 80% before stopping. Nothing in the rear floor compartment but the jack and spare belts and hoses. The rear door wouldn't open either direction but admittedly I didn't try too hard. Also I changed the oil and filter before I set it up. I reside down a small dirt road. The area is tight with trees but maneuverable. I have cut down some trees to make it more accessible.
