I am the original owner of this 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid. I purchased it in late 2002 and it's been with me for the past 12 years. We've driven across the United States (coast to coast) a few times and down to Miami from West Virginia several times. We've lived in Nevada, Florida and West Virginia. In 2009, I moved to South America and I winterized the car, parked it in my garage and there it sat for 4 years until I returned in 2013. However, I returned with a wife and a child and this family can no longer fit in a Civic - so we bought an SUV. Now I need to get rid of my civic. It runs great. The hybrid battery system was replaced at 90,000 miles (has 170,400 now) and there is a little rust in the rear wheel wells and under the chrome trim on the hood. The check engine light is on and I don't know why because everything else feels great. Possibly just from sitting. I love this car and would keep it, but I simply can't. :(
