1970 Challenger R/T project car. Original lime green 440 A/T car. Dodge built 2,802 R/T Challenger 440 4 bbl cars in 1970 according to Galen Govier. Of these, 916 were 4-speed equipped and 1,886 had automatic transmissions. This car has spent most, if not all, of its life in the dry Wyoming climate and is very solid. Frame rails and body structure are fully intact. All metal work is completed, including replacement inner front fenders, floor pan, trunk floor, and Goodmark quarter panels. Original lime green doors are in excellent condition. Fenders and trunk lid are also solid. Includes a new Goodmark hood. Roof skin had to be replaced as it had been previously damaged from poor handling. A 4-speed floor pan is installed and the car comes with full 4-speed pedal assembly, including the firewall bracket to complete the 4-speed conversion. Car is mostly complete, minus engine and transmission, as can be seen in the photos. Includes a set of four 15" x 6-1/2" rallye wheels, an open 8-3/4 3.23 gear set, gas tank, and full set of glass, which are not shown in the pictures. I will assemble the car for transport by installing the rear axle and front suspension at no charge, if needed. I have a clear Wyoming title in my name.
