Once it's yours you will change that so you get the calls instead of me. LoJack for Classic Cars is not wired into the electrical system of the car, it is a self-contained system that they claim has a 10 year battery life and this was installed less than 2 years ago. The car comes with 2 key fobs for the LoJack system. You could not duplicate even the powerplant in this car for the starting price. It is insured now by Hagerty for an agreed value of $40,000 so the BuyItNow price is reasonable. The previous owner that did the restoration used it as a show car, we just use it for fun. The car is quite a bit faster than a GT-350 would have been had you bought it new at the time with all the upgrades it has. This beauty left the factory as a straight 6 and a previous owner has done a full restoration and converted it to a HiPo spec 289 with a 4 speed toploader and a 9" rear end. The temperature gauge reads accurately but the gas gauge reads lower than actual level (they are controlled by the same resistor behind the gauge cluster) so the issue is probably either the float or sending unit in the gas tank. It reads approximately 5/8 full when the tank is full and that was never enough of a problem for me to get it taken car of. I recently discovered that the horn doesn't work and you can see in the pics that the shroud around the gear shift is torn. Other than this the car is in excellent shape. It used to run hotter than I liked around town so I removed the standard engine fan and I have dual electric fans on the radiator (one in front and one in back). I have them controlled by a manual switch under the dash as a sort of anti-theft device (if someone tried to drive far without fans it would overheat and stop them) but that was probably over-kill since the car has never been stolen from me. If you would rather they be controlled automatically the relay that controls them is under the hood and pretty close to the radiator so it would be an easy fix. It is mounted underneath the air cleaner on the drivers side. Payment and Shipping: $500 due via PayPal within 24 hours of the auction closing. Balance due by wire or cashiers check within 7 days. The car will not be moved until after payment has cleared my bank. The car currently is registered with custom plates that I am going to keep for my next project so it will take up to 2 business days after payment has cleared for me to change the registration at the DMV and make it ready for shipping. Shipping needs to be arranged and paid for in advance by the buyer. I have used DAS in the past for both shipping and receiving cars and been satisfied with the service, but the service you select is up to you. If you have any questions please let me know.On May-01-14 at 17:13:04 PDT, seller added the following information: Just to make this very clear, because there have been multiple questions from people about this: There is NO RESERVE price on this auction. Whatever it gets bid up to on Sunday afternoon is the price and it is looking like someone is going to get a smoking-hot deal on this car. I am going to see if I can add more pictures later on today so you can see just how good the condition is on the rest of the interior. It looks like the majority of people listing these cars have a reserve price which is part of why you see so many bids with people trying to find that reserve spot. I always hate bidding on auctions with a reserve so when I sell things here I price them without a reserve. Good luck and thanks for looking! On May-01-14 at 18:40:07 PDT, seller added the following information: Just added 10 additional pictures of the interior and the trunk so you can see the quality in additional detail.
