Vehicle Detail

It is what it is, I guess...This 2000 Grand Caravan SE has lots of miles, 155,000 or so, but has been very reliable and a large reason why we chose to go with an updated version (Town and Country, this time) to replace it as our primary daily kid-hauler. She has seen quite a lot. We got her in Arizona a few years back, so rust is not an issue...Got hit on the right, rear quarter while stopped for a traffic. The car behind me took the brunt of it, but this caravan took some damage from a glancing blow as a small pick-up ricocheted into it (apparently the pick-up driver fell asleep at the wheel). See pictures for damage shots. All in all, this van has been very good to us. It comes with 2 sliding rear doors, front and rear A/C, CD with Cassette, power windows and locks. Mechanically, it has been sound, with some issues; Check Engine light has been on, dealer said it was a tranny sensor, and to "just keep driving it til it starts to slip "- still doesn't slip. Had a stalling issue a while back, same dealer cleaned (but did not replace) the throttle body, seems to have cured it. She sat for a little bit this winter, so I had to throw jumper cables on to get it started yesterday. I let it run for a while to re-charge the battery. Today, she fired up right away, so I do not suspect it will be an issue, but thought I should mention it. The interior is in good shape for having lugged around four kids for 5 years. Plenty of minor blemishes, but no major rips or tears. There is a built-in child restraint in the second row, that can be accessed or hidden, just by moving the back pad. There is also a third row bench seat. Both 2nd and 3rd row are removable. I will try to get some interior pics up later in the week (I think I need a wider lens). *****One more thing, I lost the right front wheel cover, so I will include an set of brand new covers, still in the box (See pics. Added 03 MAY 2014).***** *****UPDATE 03 MAY 2014, 3:00 P.M. EDT. I had a hard time getting good pictures of the interior with everything in place, so I pulled it all out, took a few pics and uploaded them. A few things to note that may or may not show up in the photos: A small wear-through hole has appeared in the carpet under the driver’s feet. I had not even noticed it, as it is normally covered by the floor mats. Not a big deal, but see pics for details. The carpet is solid, and sturdy, but ugly in spots, especially the “high traffic” areas; under the kids’ feet, along the door areas, etc. It probably could stand a good shampoo and detail. The same can be said for the seats. They are solid, no rips or tears, but a few darker spots that may or may not come out with a good cleaning. Also, there is a small paint stain (yellow interior latex) at the very rear of the cargo area where the carpet ends (See pics). There are probably a few things I am forgetting to mention, but shouldn’t be any deal breakers back there. Just keep in mind that this is an old mini-van that has been hauling 4 kids around for most the past few years.***** The caravan is located in Bridgeport, WV, about 2 hours South of Pittsburgh on I-79. It is being sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS. If you have any questions, or would like to take her for a test drive, just let me know. I have a CLEAR WV Title in-hand, and WV inspection is good through 11/14. Thanks, Happy Bidding! May the odds be ever in your favor!
