1983 Honda FL250

For sale is a 1983 FL250 Honda 250CC 2 stroke buggy. This is what I know about this vehicle. I bought it here locally from person that stated he could not get it to run. It is missing the airbox. I cleaned the carburetor and noticed that ignition switch leads were reversed and therefore had no spark. I put it on the off position and she run and idle with no problems. I did noticed the float was bent out of shape and might need a carburetor rebuild kit as its spits little fuel out the back of carb. I am by no means a mechanic but understand these two stoke engines are bit touchy when it comes to right float adjustment. This is a two stroke engine and is fast. I have taken it for a cruise down the street but that is all. I have no interest on putting money on this as I am not into off road vehicles neither have the time for it. I did painted everything with the exception of rims. I had the seat redone on black leather and replaced the rear brakes. This could be a nice off road vehicle for the right person.
