1973 Triumph TR6Today I am offering a very nice tr6. I am selling this for my friend that spent 14 years restoring the car. He worked for years at a British car shop and rebuilt these cars professionally. It was a 14 year project that he had to let go of due to him losing his vision. He wanted me to have the car and finish it up, but I was recently diagnosed with Cancer, and am undergoing chemotherapy, so I can not physically finish the car up. He got the car to this point this past August. I would guess maybe fifty miles on it since he got it to this point. This car runs great. He did a balanced, blueprinted engine rebuild. He completely took the car apart and stripped it down to bare metal. He did a complete nut and bolt restoration. He said very little bondo was used, as he metal finished everything. The frame is rust free, and everything was done right. The car still needs a few things to finish up. The tires will need replaced. Hood will need to be painted, but I have the paint for it. The car is finished in Pimento red. The interior is all brand new. He painted the car while losing his vision, so it needs to be wet sanded and buffed out. Gas gauge needs hooked up. I have a nice top frame but no top. This car is a powerhouse. Runs and drives fabulously. I have an open clear title. I also have over 8000 in receipts and that does not include the engine rebuild, nor the cost of the car.
