My father was a Corvette aficionado, and I inherited this car when he passed away. It is a rare 1985 Corvette that was modified by the famous engine tuner John Lingenfelter himself in the mid 1990's (see www.lingenfelter.com). The performance package entailed about $8,500 of work (see attached bill of work for details) and increased the engine output to 380 horsepower and 450 pounds of torque. After the work, the car was tested on a nearby track and showed average 0-60 acceleration in 4.2 seconds. My dad was a perfectionist, and this car shows it. It has been meticulously maintained it's whole life and includes all records. It was professionally repainted in 1997 at a cost of $6,000. The car only has 46K miles, and is in great condition. There is some normal wear and tear on the seats that you would expect in a 30 year old car, but otherwise it looks and runs great. The only issue that I'm aware of is that there is poor radio reception, so the connection to the antennae probably needs to be repaired.
