The Domermobile is for the Irish fan who has everything, but this car. The kit car has been refurbished with a Notre Dame theme. It's been as head turner at Notre Dame home football games and tailgate parties as the CD player plays the Victory March, When Irish Backs Go Marching By, etc. Now it's time to pass it on. It runs, but it only roars on 3 cylinders. New owner can rebuild the engine to get #4 cylinder firing. Or live close to campus. The fiberglass body was put on the VW chassis in 1980 by Bremen Motors. Only 200+ or so were made and this is the last of its kind. It's a convertible but the top is brown which detracts from the Blue and Gold theme. This car was in storage for 16 years in a Lakeville barn, I was told. Then I bought it around 1999 and refurbished it. Fun car. Ideally the Domermobile should be kept in storage near campus and taken out for home football games or other Notre Dame events. Or the new owner should live in the South Bend area, close to campus. Southern Cal fans need not apply. Go Irish!
