Listed for sale is this 2004 Ford Explorer XLT with approximately 119K miles. The vehicle is in good condition inside and out. The interior shows minor wear and tear, and the leather seats and carpet are free of rips. The exterior is also in good condition with only a few scuffs and scratches The vehicle will needs mechanical work. A newer transmission was recently installed, and worked perfectly for a few weeks. However, now the Park gear doesn't work; so the vehicle rolls if not on an uneven surface. Also, the reverse doesn't always work. I took it to another mechanic who said the transmission seems to be fine, but it appears to be an issue with the linkage, which could happen if the transmission wasn't installed properly. The vehicle was just recently serviced and tuned-up. In addition, both catalytic convertors were replaced, but it will need O2 sensors will need to be replaced. The airbag light is also on due to a sensor. Still, this is a very nice vehicle overall, and if you compare, you would see this vehicle retails for as high as $6000.
