Vehicle Detail

Parts car, or fix it up and run it. Motor mount on passenger side broke, engine dropped several inches, oil pan breached by bumps in road. Car ran out of oil. Will start and run, lots of noise from everything rubbing on the firewall. Too bad, because I just had the timing belt and water pump changed out 1000 miles ago - was running strong looking to go another 100k miles. This car is NOT being sold as road ready, and must be towed or trailered away. Brand new right and left front axle assemblies (less than 200 miles). Transmission is good. Right and left fenders were new 18 months ago. Doors in good shape. Hood has rust. Trunk lid has scratches and dings, but is solid. Tires have about 50% tread left. Rims are good. Glass is all good, power windows all work. Moon roof is good and works. All light lenses in good sahpe, all lights work, all electronics work. Seats in decent shape. Center console lid is broken, like 98.6% of every Jetta on the road. Spare new rear bearing, and two new front bearings in the boxes go with sale. Also a pair of turnable front rotors go with it. Brake pads and front rotors pretty fresh. Sorry, NO Battery will be in the car. It was new, and is being used elsewhere. On Apr-17-14 at 16:24:13 PDT, seller added the following information: ADDED NOTES:. I added two pictures to try to show the engine situation. From the top, you can see that is has slid over to the passenger side quite a bit. See the arrows pointing to the mushed air intake hose, and the dislodged timing belt cover. From under, you can see the relatively new (working) A/C compressor and oil pan hanging down (Arrows). On Apr-19-14 at 17:38:28 PDT, seller added the following information: Updated info: A guy came by to look at it today and we looked at the oil pan. No leak. I had assumed it broke because of the bottom-out and the oil all over the pace. Something else gave way when the motor mount gave way and the engine shifted. Oil cooler line? Oil line to turbo? Either way, it's the same situation - just a different source of the oil leak that drained the engine.
