1949 Willys Jeep Truck This is a handsome old 1949 Willys Jeep truck. One of a kind daily driver. This Willys has a 401 AMC motor (police motor) with 4 barrel carb. Approximately 15000 miles since overhaul. Torque Flight transmission completely overhauled last summer. 205 separate mount transfer case, DANA 60 -Detroit locker rear end, DANA 44 Tru Track front end, 3.50:1 ratios, power steering, power brakes, all brakes just rebuilt, new master cylinder all wheel cylinders shoes and pads, tilt steering wheel, full instrument panel, radio, turn signals & flashers, cb radio, anti-theft brake lock, 20 gallon fuel tank, air compressor & tank with two air hoses (front and rear compartment), pneumatic dump bed, air horns, air shocks, new BF Goodrich tires 33 x 12.50 R 15 All Terrain T/A, wood lined bed with tie downs, heavy duty electric winch & cable with remote control. The glass is all in good condition, no cracks, Hy-lift jack and tow chain. The paint is old and faded but still shines up fine, some chips and small scratches. The only rust I can see is on the passenger door down low, easy fix. This California truck is ready for a complete restore or is great as is for a daily driver. This truck was built for show about 1980 and has been driven around town lightly since that time with about 3 owners. Runs great, no leaks, always garaged. I just bought a 36' sailboat and need to move a few toys. Everyone stops and waves, thumbs up when they see this truck. She's a real head turner. I still take it to the local car shows and put it next to the shiny hot rods and everyone gathers around her to have a look, especially when I raise the bed.
