This auction is for a 1973 Triumph Tiger. It is the 750cc model and has the 5 speed transmission. This is a customers bike that I put front fork seals in about 10 years ago. I also retorqued engine bolts (head) and put tires on it. It has sat since then. Needs a battery and new gas and it will run. Carbs probably need rebuilt after purchase. Bike doesn't leak either from bottom or at head gasket and rocker box gaskets. Engine is fairly clean. Has good compression. Tank was Kreem'ed years ago...no leaks and fairly clean inside. The 5 speed tranny shifts fine. Clutch is good. The 750 cc model has about 8 more horsepower than it's sister Tiger TR6RV 650 cc model. Bike is in Youngstown,OH. A PayPal deposit of $500 is required immediately after sale. Balance can be paid in postal money order or bank check within 8 days of auction end. Such funds must clear institution before bike can be taken. Cash can be paid if picked up within 8 days. Owner has agreed to hold bike free of charge for up to 30 days in order for buyer to arrange pick up via transport company. If bike needs crated for any overseas shipping there will be a PayPal invoice sent to buyer for $280. This is a very nice vintage Triumph. Has been well maintained ie: oil changes and tune-ups. Paint is very good on both. Chrome name plates look great. New "stick on" emblems are available for inside nameplates.
