IT'S A CUTE CAR AND LOOKS NICE IN MY SHOWROOM. SO PLEASE EVERYONE STOP WITH THE EMAILS ABOUT VARIOUS PARTS YOU NEED OR WANT. IT'S NOT GOING TO BE PARTED OUT BY ME. This is a Barn Find and hopefully, will find a good home. Please save this car. It has rust on the left side in the rockers, rear quarter and driver floor, on the right side, in the rocker and passenger floor and rear quarter, but not nearly as bad as the left side. But overall, it's pretty crunchy underneath. It would require rocker panels and floors restored and rear quarters. It's automatic and the engine runs but it's not currently drivable. Sorry, no pictures of the engine compartment today, the hood release snapped in my hand. (you can see it hanging in the picture of the floor mat and sun light shining thru the floor The Gas pedal is missing. All electrics appear to work fine, even the horn. The grill and front bumper are in great shape. This would make a great parts car. The interior is the really great part of this car, seats and door panels and head liner and carpets are all there. Even the factory Black Subaru Floor mats are with the car still. It had one owner all it's life from Bethel Maine. The car did originally get treated with Rusty Jones coatings. You can see the sticker on the rear right side glass. The glass is all good. It also has it's original window sticker and bag of tools and owners manuals. It sports all the original standard equipment, even the Clarion Factory AM Radio from Subaru. Someone added pin stripes, side molding, a right side mirror which I removed, wheel trim rings and a trailer hitch. There was one question from one ebayer about the year of this vehicle stating that it's a 1979 because it has single headlamps. As far as I can tell, single headlamps were standard and quad headlamps were optional. I've found photos of other 1978's with single headlamps. The window sticker claims it's a 1978. Also the door tag on the drivers inside door states a manufacture date of 11/77. It also goes on to say, "this vehicle conforms to all 1978 model year requirements". It's a non catalytic converter car too according to the plate. There is some slight silver paint overspray on the plate making me think that possibly this car was repainted once the same color. Maine will issue a title letter which will be accepted by all 50 States. There has only been one previous registered owner for this car. If this car doesn't sell, it will not be re-listed, My policy is that I only list a car once on ebay. If it doesn't sell, then I keep it.
