1968 Mercedes 280SL Convertible. Estate sale. Owned by the father of a friend for several decades, this 280SL has been garage kept and driven sparingly during that time. It is best described as an original car that has had regular maintenance and repair. The engine was rebuilt in 1997, and much of the car has been repainted at one time or another. The interior is original, and the accompanying photographs are accurate representations of the Mercedes’ current condition. The 280SL starts, runs and drives, but has not been driven for any great distance in some time. It is a handsome, desirable automobile and is being sold as-is with no warranty express or implied.
