READ WHOLE AD!! Silverado extended cab 4WD truck with the 6.5L turbo diesel. Engine seized up in February and will not turn over. This truck is for parts or repair. It will have to be towed! Below is all the information about truck. I have owned for about 3 years. This truck has been my daily driver until early February. This is a rare 1500 Silverado with the 6.5L Turbo diesel engine. Engine and transmission are original with just over 150K miles. This truck has never been used for towing and has rarely been off road. Description of what happened when engine seized - I left work in the afternoon and was going to hardware store. Truck did not have any "check engine lights" on and was running great as normal. While driving to store on I-40 at about 65mph truck just cut off. There was not a loud noise, nothing it just cutt off. I pulled off the edge of the road and checked everything I knew. Looked under truck and nothing was leaking. Popped hood and pulled oil dipstick. Truck had plenty of oil but a little white smoke did come out of dipstick area. Truck was not over heated and truck still has oil in it after sitting for over 1 month. I had it towed to a shop and had them check it. To keep my cost down I told mechanic just to see if engine was seized or not. He confirmed engine is seized but did not do an in depth diagnosis of what or why. Interior - Never smoked in, never had pets, back seat has rarely been sat in. For a 19 year old truck you will probably not find an interior as clean as this one. There are not any rips in seats, very few stains if any, dash is in very good condition with no cracks etc. There are some stains in floor if you lift up the floor mats. This truck has an am/fm/cassette player. Truck has A/C but has not worked since I have owned and I have never had it checked. Power windows work great. Exterior - Alloy wheels, rubber bed liner in bed, body looks good for age. I do not see any rust worth mentioning. I believe this truck has been in NC since new but not positive about that. The previous owner had to have the ingition swithc replaced. Some time after that he lost the key to the door. This truck has the keyless remote that will lock and unlock the doors but I do not have a key to the door. Chevy has a seperate key for door and ignition. Body of Truck - For a 19 year old truck body is in great shape. Not perfect I said great for a 19 year old truck. I took lots of pictures but if you, need a specific picture of something just ask and I will do my best to include it. It will have to be towed. 2. $250 NON REFUNDABLE deposit required within 48 hours. If not paid, truck will be re-listed. Once deposit is paid, this money will be kept no matter what! If you can't accept this then please don't bid. 3. Full payment required within 7 days of auction ending. 4. Title will be done by NC law. All names, address and signatures on title and notarized. 5. Truck and title will not be released until all funds have cleared my bank. If it has cleared your bank it does not matter. It has to clear in my bank. 6. After payment has cleared my bank, truck must be picked up within 7 days. If this conflicts your schedule just call me and I will work with you. I can work with your schedule but I will not wait a month for you to pick truck up. 7. All checks must clear before you can pick up truck. Normally 10 days but could be longer. 8. You can pay for entire truck via paypal but 4% will be added to the total cost. This covers my fees. 9. Cash must be verified at a bank. Yes I did receive a counterfeit $100 bill a few years ago.
