Up for auction is a 1968 International 1800 Loadstar. It has a 392 V8 with a 5 speed trans and a two speed axle. I do not know exactly how many miles are on the engine. It was a new long block installed about 25 or 30 years ago. I am guessing it has about 60,000 miles on it. I will not fluff this description. This truck has been sitting outside for about 15 years, When it was parked 15 years ago - it ran, but has not been turned over since. It has a 16 food grain box on it. I do not know what kind of condition the box floor is on after all these years outside. The interior has has rodents in it. Someone stole the key. With a lot of TLC I am sure this truck could be put back into service. At my starting price of $199, you could get way more than that in scrap. On Apr-05-14 at 07:03:15 PDT, seller added the following information:A couple of issues I thought of I wanted to add so whoever ends up with this truck, does not feel deceived. I think one of the front brake wheel cylinders was leaking. The last time I went to move this truck; the master was empty. It has been sitting for so long; perhaps other wheel cylinders will leak as well??? Also, the pictures do not show it well, but the top front portion of the fenders are rusted through. This is a typical spot for International fenders to rust out since there is a brace underneath, where dirt & road spray becomes trapped.
