Vehicle Detail
The Good: Had the 727 trans rebuilt and a new torque convertor with 2500 stall and a competition shift kit. Redone the exhaust system installed quality headers with crushed aluminum gaskets going into 3" pipes to duel chambered master flows. New gas tank and sending unit and seals. New fuel pump and mount. New edlebrook 650. New electronic ignition. Wires, resistors and plugs. Got all the lights working even the horn. New front shocks. Had the interior redone with the same material it came with from the factory, headliner, seats, the works. That's when they found the build sheet it was behind the back seat. The Good on the things I didn't do: You can tell that this car has been barn kept and never been wrecked. The Vin# matches the one on the build sheet (which means it's never been stolen). The car is almost rust free, the only places I've found is the rear valiant panel and some tiny bubbles around the front glass and rear glass but it's really minor. The frame was under coated and it shows it's very solid I've had it up on lifts and looked at it hard. Fuel, Temp gauges work not sure about the amp. gauge. Blower and the controls work. Floor and trunk pans are in great shape. All the glass, door knobs are working great, and the inside and outside Charger name plates there all there. Wipers and flip headlight covers work. The breaks have had to be redone, because they stop on a dime and they don't leak nothing leaks on the car but the dipstick it's so minor I just haven't got to it yet. The engine runs excellent!! Call me at 214-475-0003 The Bad : The ball joints and neoprene grommets have never been changed and it just started road walking. Plus I had the front end aligned and torsion bars raised for the look but it hasn't drove the same since, probably bad idea. The clock, oil pressure gauge, and speed odometer don't work. The cable to the shifter broke the other day, the shifter works but it doesn't lock in park. The compressor and the heater hoses are all there I got a good feeling they work they just disconnected them when installing the motor (you can tell that it's fresh). And the controls work inside. The rear left leaf spring needs replaced. I've talked about the rust I've found, but as far as the sheet n metal on the car the right front quarter panel has a crease. The left rear quarter panel has a bad bondo job to much hardener. That's about all I can think of. All in all it's in good shape I love this car. I love driving it. I don't want to sell it, but I got married and the general has to go.
