Vehicle Detail

"Old Yellar" Selling my old ranch truck. Runs really good, a little cold blooded on cold mornings, after warm up, no problems. Currently sitting on original 16" bias ply tires. I do have an extra set of 15" radials on rims with about 75% tread that are normally on the truck that go with truck. Has the original 235 with 3-speed on the column, clutch is good, shifter is a little sloppy, needs bushings. Only means that you have to shift slowly and not try to speed shift. Still has the old school closed driveline. Has a very small crease on drivers running board and a small dent inside the bed from dropping firewood. Windshield leaks a little and so does the cowl vent, could use new rubber. I just haven't bothered. Paint is peeling in several spots as you can see from the pics. The electrical system has been converted to 12 volt with a voltage reducer for the guages. All the guages on left instrument cluster work (oil, gas, charge and temp), the speedometer does not work, needle fell off. I have a couple of parts to go with the truck, I scrapped out a 59 pickup and took the entire drivetrain. So I have a 1959 235 engine that has the better pressurized oiling system (runs), a manual 3-speed with driveshaft and a 10 bolt rearend that goes with the truck! Also have an old set of aluminum slotted mags with crappy tires that were on the 59 that go too. I had originally planned on making a street rod, just never got to it. Since then just decided to keep it for around my property. Run back and forth to the feed store with it half a dozen times a year, picking up brush and firewood, etc. Like I said, truck runs pretty good, smokes a little, but the only problem I have ever had with it was when the shifter rods got stuck trying to shift it too fast one day. It will need the floorboard replaced sometime in the future, has a couple of small holes near the clutch heel and smaller ones on passenger side. that panel is less than $200 from LMC truck (Should be able to see in pic). Has original heater, hoses are hooked up, does not leak, but electrical for it doesn't work, don't know why. Small bad spot in dash at radio mount where someone put a radio in at one time and reamed out the mount hole. It is currently non-op through California DMV, fees are $89 a year last time I registered it. I misplaced the title, just ordered new one, should be here within 10 days. I can give a bill of sale or wait for title to show, either way. I am listing with no reserve, but with a reasonable start price. Trucks this solid are getting harder to come by. I have tried to edit E-bay's shipping and payment instructions with no luck. I would like a $500 deposit within 24 hours and balance in 10 days. Buyer responsible for shipping. I am willing to drive truck up to 30 miles to meet a shipper if necessary. I am willing to store for up to 30 days after full payment recieved at no charge. If you have any questions, e-mail and I will respond in 24 hours. I am not interested in trades or lowball offers. Truck is located in Mountain Ranch, California, which is about 1 hour due east of Stockton.
