Vehicle Detail

I was a second owner since the car had about 15k miles, purchased from Insurance Co., recovered after theft, before was smuggled abroad. The car was in perfect condition. Between 2005 and 2008, after about 35k miles, under warranty, the dealer replaced a whole steering system, new brakes booster, pads and disks, new engine valves and all parts related to it with updated one, a new torque converter... generally all parts, systems, software, which were known to cause problems for that year`s car, were replaced with updated, more reliable one. Since then, I made about 15k miles and never had any problems whatsoever. Last year, before I gave the car to my son, I replaced battery, all 4 wheels, original staggered 19" BMW silver Alumin. and put all 4 new tires. As a spare in the trunk, same 19" wheel with a new tire. My son spent about $ 3-4k, replacing original grills and emblems with Chrome STRUTs, all original interior illumination with Xenon shade LEDs, new original BMW rubber trunk and floor mats, all windows tinted as well as exterior lighting. All original, replaced parts are stored in the garage and coming with the car. I also have never used original BMW 18" wheels with winter tires, which I can sell separately from the car, as well as old, same 19" wheels with tires. The paint is almost perfect, Metallic Titanium Silver with almost black details. For many years I enjoyed smooth ride, fast acceleration and very powerful brakes, I loved that car, but my son went to collage and there is no room in the garage for him, so... it has to go. There is also, not shown on pictures, Titanium Silver, rear, trunk spoiler, which comes with the car. Some of futures of that model: NAVIGATION WITH VOICE COMMAND, SUNROOF WITH POWER SLIDING GLASS, XENON HEADLIGHTS, TELESCOPING STEERING WHEEL WITH CONTROLS, CRUISE CONTROL, DUAL ZONE AC AND HEAT, ALARM SYSTEM WITH KEYLESS ENTRY, FULL LEATHER AND WOOD TRIM INTERIOR, Intermittent Wipers, Mirror Position Memory, Navigation System, Passenger Vanity Mirror, Power Driver Mirror, Power Passenger Mirror, Power Passenger Seat, Power Steering, Power Windows, Remote Trunk Release, Universal Garage Door Opener, Cruise Control, 18 MPG City / 26 MPG Hwy, POWER HEATED LEATHER SEATS WITH MEMORY AND LUMBAR, SOUND SYSTEM WITH 6-DISK CD CHANGER AM FM RADIO , POWER WINDOWS AND MIRRORS, FOG LIGHTS, TRACTION CONTROL, PREMIUM ALLOY 19" STAGERED WHEELS with brand new Tires, HOMELINK Car Phone, Front Reading Lamps, Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel, Power Tilt/Sliding Sunroof, Rear Reading Lamps, Power Driver and Passenger Seat, Auxiliary Power Outlet, Cruise Control, Illuminated Driver Vanity Mirror, Illuminated Passenger Visor Mirror, Variable Speed Intermittent WipersOn Mar-25-14 at 13:10:27 PDT, seller added the following information: Recently, I received a lot of question about Title issues and condition of the car, so I need clarify the issue. In late 2002, the car was leased to third party by BMW dealer as a brand new and a week later reported stolen. Six month later, Insurance from Texas paid the dealer for the car and got the Title. The car has been found over 3 years later and sold to me. The NYS DMV issued registration and clean Title to me, but some time later notified me, the Title is not valid and I will not be able to renew my 2 years registration, since the Insurance paid to the Dealer over 75% of value price ( it was a week old car), therefore, by NYS law, I have to go thru NYS Inspection. They were checking for any altered VIN# (there seven somewhere on the car), safety of the car and stolen parts. From activity on Car Check or Car Fax, it seems all previous Title records has been voided and new records updated. Yes, the car is mine, no liens, I have NYS Title in my hands. There is a record of mileage discrepancy. The car was reposed over 3 years later as soon as thieves connected battery but there was no key module to start the car, so Insurance issued a Title with mileage unknown. There was no accidents, no paint job, all repairs, maintenance ( up the point the car was updated to 2008 model) were made by one BMW dealer and detailing, waxing, body care, Strut grilles... were done by local customization shop, known in NYC for fancy work on a million dollar cars. I strongly recommend for future buyer to hire a Staten Island mechanic to check the car, including body/paint scanning. There is absolutely nothing to hide. The car was checked many times by BMW Dealer and definitely I would know if there is any issues. On request I can email a link to high resolution pictures on internet. Whether the buyer can drive to Minnesota? Perhaps it is not new car but still it is BMW 7 not 3 or 5.
