Vehicle Detail

This car is a nice amateur restore and it runs great! VERY clean car! I took a lot of weight out of the car during restoration. Motor: Originally a 6 cylinder A body, transferred motor over from a 1971 340 (13 1/2 to 1), TRW Pistons, X heads, cam shaft (303-503), brand new polished chrome vacuum secondary Holley carburetor on an Edelbrock Victor Junior intake. TTI 1 3/4" ceramic coated headers going to a 2 1/2" H pipe, to 2 chamber flowmasters. The over axle tail pipes have been taken off but I do have them. Moroso 9 quart, deep oil pan and Moroso aluminum deep trans pan, with transmission cooler mounted on radiator up front with electric fan. Fan is manually run by toggle switch mounted at shifter. Odometer reads 96,000 but motor has no more than 12,000 miles. Since I've completed restoration, I've only run about 20 gallons of fuel on it. Dress up kit on motor, march pulley, serpentine pulley kit with polished chrome stock alternator, with aftermarket power steering pump, stock steering box and all new lines. Transmission: 727 reverse manual valve body with a 10" converter that stalls around 3200 RPM, to an 8 3/4" rear end with 4:88 gear ratio. Winners shifter on the floor. Front End K member suspension has a brand new, complete, polyurethane bushing kit with brand new KYB Shocks. All painted black underneath. Very clean car! Stock gas tank with a Carter electric fuel pump, braided fuel lines brand new from tank to a polished chrome Holley regulator. Motor has a mini starter. Wheels/Tires: Weld Wheels all the way around, front has skinny Mickey Thompson and rear has MT street slicks, all mounted on weld wheels. Its a unibody and would make a nice bracket race car if it had frame connectors! Brand new rear Moser axles 5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern. Front has been converted over to disc, also 5 on 4 1/2, Willwood heavy duty disc brakes along with new Wildwood master cylinder. Exterior/Paint: very minor dings and scratches, not original paint (paint job is about 28 years old), scoops are not proper for a 72 but i like the 1971 look so I put flat black, chrome tip scoops on. Vinyl top is in excellent condition. Brand new bumpers from Bumper Boys. Brand new headlights, wipers don't work but never driven in rain!! (could just be a fuse). Interior: All leather black seats, brand new bucket seats up front, stock seat in rear, some rust in driver floor board (by the high beam button on floor). No radio included, standard seat belts up front, one seat belt in rear (driver side).
