This is a 1 owner car that was delivered in Hollywood, and has remained in Hollywood until present. We have checked this VW and there is NO visable rust, also no signs of any accidents. The panels appear to be original and rust free. The underneath of the car is original with no signs of rust or damage. The interior is in good shape, the seats are fine with no stains, rips. The carpets are original, and are dry and cracking. The headliner is in good original condition. The dash is cracked. The glass is in good condition and it looks to be mostly original. The rubber throughout on the car are dry and cracked. Everything on this shows the way a unrestored, well cared for VW should be with no surprises. It looks like it was repainted its original color 1 time, the paint is now flat, but acceptable as a driver. This is the auto/stick model. The engine is strong, we believe it is a factory replacement engine. The transmission works fine, all brakes are good. This beetle can be driven in its original condition with no problems, or is a very solid example to restore to as far as you would like to take it.
