PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO READ THIS AD FULLY!!!!!!! *****LOW RESERVE****** This a for a very Rare and Nice,Solid 1966 OLDS Starfire Coupe with the rare power strato bench seat option and manual windows.It is basicly just a big 442,but with more room and horsepower. It has the original 425 Super Rocket(375HP)and the rare switch pitch turbo 400 trans.I have had this car for a few years and it is a Great car,I really hate to sell it but need to, due to changes in my life. It is a very Solid,straight car and it is still wearing its original Dark Jade Green paint,so no surprizes are hidden.Keep in mind it is straight and has GREAT patina but the paint is tired,thin and 48 years old.There is only 2 small spots of rust located behind the rear wheels in the lower outer quarters,easy fix.I posted a photo of the worst spot.The rest of the car is rock solid and straight.There is NO rust in the trunk or floors.see all photos.The hood,trunk lid,rockers,fenders and doors are rust free.The doors open and shut like new.The core support and battery tray are also rust free.This car runs and drives Great.The factory dual exhaust is still holding togather but could use replacing.I have 2 flowmasters mufflers that will come with the car.The carb could probably use freshing up.It is original and has a little ruff idle sometimes.The A/C and heat still work and blows out of the correct vents.The A/C is still charged with r12 and blows pretty cold.The brakes are good,and car stops good.The wheels are Vintage E/T polished Slots wrapped with New Cooper Cobra Rubber.235 60 15 fronts and 255 60 15 rears.I have the original wheels and tires also.I will sell the car cheaper with just them if you like.Please see descrptions below regarding the tires and wheels.Old school rear helper springs give it the old school rake.All the trim is present.The bumpers are straight and decent.All glass is good and most all the weather stripping has been replaced.The wipers work perfect.The interior is in good shape and still smells like and old Oldsmobile.The seats were recovered back in the 80's with the tuck and roll you see.They still sit good and are comfortable.There is a small 3/4 inch tear on the side of the passenger seat.See Photo.The dash is in Great shape and is UNCUT.All the gauges and interior chrome and dash trim are very nice.There are 2 cracks on the dash pad itself that have been fixed at one time but are still visable.One is over the speedometer and the other is over the glove box,these are only in the padded dash pad.The 8 way power seat works perfect.All the gauges work,even the cold light still functions as it should.The door panels,rear package tray,carpet and headliner are in good shape.The front floor mats are custom made.I have the original am radio that will come with the car,it worked fine when removed.I installed a new NOS RCA am/fm 8 track and it sounds great and nothing was cut on the dash,so the original radio could be reinstalled if you ever wanted to.Speakers were located in factory spots with factory style covers.I have the factory clock but I put a vintage SW tach in the dash that actually looks like it belongs,again it can be removed and nothing was cut.I have the original books and Factory sales brochure from 66 and a 66 Oldsmobile factory service manual.The car has always been a southern car.I would not be afraid to drive this anywhere,but please keep in mind this is a 48 year old car.It is not perfect by no means but it is a great driver with cool old school patina.Please do not expect a perfect car.This is a good solid driver as is or it can be taken to the next level with ease. ******Take time to look at all photos and Please ask any question before bidding or buying if you are unsure of anything.
