2012 Chevy Volt, was purchased as a salvage title repairable in January 2013, has over $8500 of OEM original equipment parts installed including: front end sheet metal, headlights, coolers, engine cradle, right front inner structure, on-board charging unit, A/C compressor, rear axle, right rear door shell, right rear quarter panel skin. I have $25,000 invested in this car. Rocker moldings and rear bumper lower valence custom painted silver to match the rest of the vehicle. Volt drives excellent and runs on the gas engine, currently will not charge on the wall charger. Displays "Service High Voltage Charging System" message on instrument cluster and also displays check engine light on dash. Paid Berger Chevrolet $1600 in January at their diagnosis to install a brand new OEM A/C compressor which did not fix the charging issue. Included is a Siemens 220 volt charger which cost $1000 new. The car is titled and plated, all the inspections are done, car looks sharp and drives great, I am currently using as a daily driver on the gas engine. Volt does have a couple other cosmetic issues, there is a rip in the headliner above the drivers seatbelt from the roof airbags deploying, there is a plastic trim piece under the hood that is cracked, and the right side of the front bumper doesnt fit quite right against the fender.
