1979 Suzuki rm-400 .Bike is a frame off rest .Everything has been gone thru .Bike has new michelin s12 tires front and rear with only a few rides on them .The rear tire was replaced during the resto so you can see the whole bike has less then 10 hours on it.It has new brake shoes front and rear,new wheel bearings,new did ert 2 chain,new sprockets,new swingarm bearings,new chain rollers and custom chain guide much better the the oem set up (oem set up comes with the bike and can be bolted on if you wish).The bike has Noleen piggy back shocks set up for a 200 pound vet int .This is the best dual shock bike i have ridden other then late huskys with dual ohlins .These shocks cost me 800.00 and only have been ridden on since the resto.The front forks are the stock 38mm kayabas with a few tricks done race tech heavier spring rate with new seals and bushings 10 weight oil 135 mm from top.They work well with the shocks.This the stock exhaust pipe in near perfect condition.It has a period correct answer silencer that was repacked in real nice shape.Bike also has the following oem parts front and rear fenders these are Rare!!!!I It also has the oem chain gard, handle bars,number plates,pipe mounts.Also some other coll stuff new seat cover ,fuel tank cover,moose esay pull levers terry liable cables magura whirlpool throttle.Now for the motor .It was torn down .It has new mains and seals .The trans was given a new 2nd gear and shift fork it was bred .030 with a new piston ,rings clips ,bearing.It got new clutch plates and springs.Also has new boysen reeds and uni filter.This bike runs and rides better then new .It looks exceptional for a race bike and could be a show bike very easily if that is your thing.This bike has all of its original hard ware as well .Please note if you are bidding on this It is your responsibility to find out shipping cost ,duties or tarrifs and what you country requires for documentation.Will crater bike for a fee .I do not have a fork truck If hiring a truck please request quote for a drop gate.
