This auction is for a 1967 The Alison Daytona on a 1969 Beetle pan. It has a brand new bikini top made by TJ Kustoms. Paint color is a metallic green "House of Colors" paint that pops in the sunlight. I was told by the builder he had $2,000 in the paint job. The wheels were detailed to match the body. Powder coated roll bar and window frame, and a fresh 1500 cc engine that purs. Tranny shifts smooth as silk with the Hurst shifter. I am unaware of ANY mechanical defects. The car was completely restored mechanically and not one mechanical piece was left untouched. It is as clean underneath as it is on the surface. The engine leaks NO oil, not a drop. Has a new electronic ignition so no points adjustments are needed. Body is perfect, paint is excellent condition with only minor imperfections. Undercarriage is cleaner than your house, no rust. Coil over shocks give the buggy a smooth ride. Seats are very comfortable, I will call good condition but not perfect, no holes or tears. The drivers seat has a side that a cat sharpened his claws on with the original owner. The carpet is good and intact. I have a new radio/CD player for it, just have not installed it. There is a small corner crack in the drivers side of the windshield (see photos), does not affect driving and its been there as long as I have owned the car. A new VDO speedo is installed but has not been calibrated for use. All other gauges function. I cannot ship this but I will cooperate with your shipper. If we need to discuss that, contact me.
