Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is this almost all original hard to find 2 door fast-back Silverstreak. Original paint(see pics). The electrical fuel pump is not original. The interior is original and in fairly nice shape. It is getting very hard to find 'survivor' cars like this. This car has the flathead 8 original engine that starts up immediately every time. This car runs and idles smooth. It is very responsive when you hit the gas pedal. It keeps up with traffic easily and rides very smooth. It holds 40 lbs oil pressure even at idle and after warm-up. The car will need new front brake lines installed - the rear brakes work as does the e-brake. The guages and lights all seem to function as they should. The body of the car is almost dent and rust free with the exception of a small dent in the chrome just below the hood ornament(see pics). The hood ornament is very cool and does light up. That really looks neat after dark. The glass is all good as are the rubber window gaskets. The windows roll up and down good. The visor is cool looking and check out the trafficator on the dash.(see pics). The car has a brand new battery. The interior is all original and intact. The floorpans are good with some rust on the inner rockers although not visible from the top side. The trunk floor is solid with original carpet material still intact. The tires are weather-checked but always hold air. The car has a heater that works. Please email early with any questions and to exchange phone numbers so we can discuss this very neat old original 'survivor' car. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to Paypal within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The balance in full is due within 7 days of the end of the auction as payment of cash in person or wired to our bank account. The balance will NOT be accepted in to PayPal. This car is currently stored in a garage and can remain there to allow for pick up or transportation. The buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for pick up or transportation of this car. The buyer is responsible for any additional wire fees on the buyers end of the transaction.
