Vehicle Detail
For Auction is a 1975 Honda CB125S Flat Tracker / Racer customized motorcycle. 122cc, the engines top end has been rebuilt with a replacement cylinder, piston, wrist pin, and new engine gaskets and points. Kick only ignition, compression is strong, engine fires with strong spark, new wiring harness, all electrical has been redone with new inline blade fuse, new battery, new LED spark plug cap, new spark plug, new straight header with custom made heat shield and new header clamp and gasket, custom aluminum seat with foam pad. New black powder coated handlebars, new controls, polished custom throttle with new billet grips, new air intake and stainless allen bolt engine kits that include chrome acorns. Custom wrapped braided throttle cable. Carburetor has been rebuilt as well. Headlight hi/lo switch is toggled on headlight bucket. Original mileage on the engine before rebuild is 7,463 miles. Odometer Replaced with OEM gauge that reflects 33 miles. All indicator lights are built into the factory replacement gauge. Tail light is from a 66 CB160. Engine number is CB125SE1300259 and frame number is CB125S1301545 with a manufacturer production date of June 1975. This bike is in overall very clean condition, rebuilt from the chassis up. The frame was stripped and repainted, front end upgraded to 78 front end with cable disc brake. Forks are in excellent condition no pitting or leaks from seals. New ball bearings and grease in the triple tree. Engine covers have been polished to a beautiful shine. Chrome wheels are in excellent shape with nice spokes. Fenders are nice chrome, sprokets are in great shape and do not need replacement. Some minor finishing work needs to be done to complete this little mean machine such as, needs new tires (current ones are original), chain, and ignition key switch (original ignition switch included - key missing), timing needs to be fine tuned (currently backfires due to timing is off) and carb will need proper jetting. Brakes should be inspected, and the rear brake stay, lever and rod needs to be installed (parts provided). Fuel tank is a Benelli Mojave racing style plastic tank with a nice chrome cap. The fuel tank needs frame mounts installed, a petcock and a red-coat lining (tank was poorly lined by previous owner which was discovered after purchasing it for this bike) or replace with factory fuel tank. There is an oil leak from the clutch cover that will need to be addressed. This bike is one of a kind custom built, and with minor work will make an awesome flat tracker or pit bike when finished. Regretfully, I just don't have the time or money to complete it. This bike will be locally listed as well. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time prior to auction end if sold locally. The logistics: This is a NO RESERVE auction. Bike is sold AS-IS with Connecticut Bill Of Sale ONLY. No title - Titles are not issued by the state of CT DMV for motorcycles older than 1983.
