Here we have up for auction a 1982 Mercedes 300D Turbo Diesel SedanSPENT OVER 1/2 ITS LIFE IN CALIFORNIAVERY LOW MILES FOR A 32 YEAR OLD CARIMMACULATE CONDITIONNO RESERVE3.0 LITER 6 CYLINDER TURBO CHARGED ENGINE (well known to be bullet-proof)AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION Engine & Transmission are excellent!The tires have about %85 tread leftThe brakes stop the car well. No vibrations, shimmies or squeaks.The car drives excellent and smooth- turbo charger works great LOOK AT THE DASH!!YOU NEVER SEE OF THESE LATELY WITH A PERFECT DASH!! Exterior is black, black interior.Interior is excellent and clean!!Seats are very comfortable. Exterior- if the pictures don't already tell you is immaculate!!The chrome on the bumpers are still shiny as new.Tail lights and front marker lights look excellent.The original paint is dull from age.THIS 300D IS A TRUE TIME CAPSULE!! The car is equipped with an aftermarket stereo which does not seem to work.Air Conditioning blows cold!The heat works well. Head lights, corner lights, Turn signals, Tail lights, Fog Lights work!Windshield wipers work and wipe well.The tachometer & fuel gauge do not work, but the fuel light does work when low on fuel. Battery was recently replaced. Glow plug system works well. Car starts up no matter how cold it gets!Fluids all look good. The pictures describe this 300D better than i can!! This 300D turns heads!!When was the last time you saw a 32 year old 300D THIS nice and THIS clean? I would drive the car anywhere in its current condition with no hesitations. I would though change the oil. The fuel filters were recently replaced. NO used car is perfect- here's what is wrong with the car: 1. Car does not shut off with ign switch (vacuum line needs to be replaced, car can be manually shut off) 2. Fuel gauge, tach & stereo do not work. PLEASE LOOK BELOW TO SEE THE OTHER PHOTOS!!
