Selling my 1991 Toyota Supra, automatic transmission, non-turbo. This car is all Original STOCK ! Does Not Currently Run - project car ! I purchased this car for my daughter two years ago from the original owner. She had always wanted a Supra and it was sitting in a garage just over the hill from us! This car was the original owner’s baby and his daily driver for 17 years. It was garage kept and well maintained. Never wrecked - did not have a scratch on it when we got it. He parked it in 2008 with intentions of keeping it, but he was moving, had a family now, etc. To make it roadworthy we rebuilt the transmission, the upper part of the engine and had the head gasket done. It was my daughter’s daily driver (she put 10,000 miles on it the last two years) until three weeks ago when the engine seized up. Our mechanic thinks the bottom part of the engine needs rebuilding, and then it should be good to go. In hindsight, I wish I’d had a JZ engine put in it…anyhow, we have replaced the Supra with a SC300 and are ready to send it to a new home! This car has always been in Alabama, straight body and has a pristine interior ! We are the second owners and have a CLEAN CLEAR TITLE in hand. Rebuilt transmission, good tires (rear ones only 3,000 miles on them.) 164,153 Original Miles. Charcoal Bluish Grey Original Paint and same color cloth interior - no rips or tears. Interior is fabulous for a car of this age. It has a few bruises - front and rear fenders on the driver’s side got acquainted with a guardrail and the front bumper has a ding from bumping the basketball goal in our drive. Hood and hatch pneumatic lifters need replacing and the air is iffy - either does not work or not well. We have never had it looked at as it was a nonissue for daughter. No undercarriage rust - two small rust spots on rear fender at edges of the dent. I know most people buy these cars as project cars, so the nonworking engine only means you can buy it cheaper to customize the car! This car DOES NOT RUN and must be trailered out of our mechanic’s lot in Birmingham, AL. Being sold AS IS, but you can verify everything we said with our mechanic.
