Vehicle Detail

For your review and bidding is an extremely nice, almost ORIGINAL 1967 Suzuki X6 Hustler, or known in Europe as the Super Six T20. This motorcycle is in excellent condition as you can see from the pictures. In fact, Jay Leno added an X6 to his collection and says this model is a favorite of his. See website for more regarding his X6. http://www.jaylenosgarage.com/motorcycles-1/suzuki/#videos Why would Jay and others add the X6 to their collection of motorcycles? For me, the X6 was the motorcycle to have during 1967-1970. I couldn’t afford one back when I was 17. And, I vowed to own an X6 one day. My collection began with Yamaha twins and expanded to include Suzuki’s, Hondas and Yamahas. Reason for selling: I am now retired and beginning to travel more in our RV. This bike is a favorite of mine and I would like someone else to enjoy this motorcycle as much as I have these past few years. Suzuki X6 Hustler statistics and history Years made: 1965-1968 Claimed power: 29 hp @7,500 rpm Top Speed: 100 mph (period test) Engine type: 247cc, 2-stroke, air cooled parallel twin Weight: 297 lbs When Suzuki introduced the X6 in the fall of 1965, it caused an immediate sensation. Developed with the goal of captivating the U.S. market, the Hustler was designed to be the fastest 250 cc motorcycle in the world. The bike featured Suzuki's first ever tubular steel double-cradle frame, and its air-cooled two-stroke sleeved aluminum cylinder engine was capable of just about 100 mph. Surprisingly sophisticated, this little engine achieved 100 hp per one liter cylinder volume, which meant it could outrun most of the bigger, faster bikes on the road. It featured automatic oil injection, but more importantly, it was the first six speed motorcycle ever to go into full production. Included in the sale you will receive the service guide and parts catalogue, along with some misc. parts. The title is in my name and registered in California with no issues in transferring title to your name. I will work with any buyer who needs to use a shipper to send this motorcycle to your home. You make the arrangements and I will accommodate by storing in my garage until the shipment date. As always with a vintage motorcycle there are minor nicks and scratches (see pictures) in addition, this X6 has a small oil leak coming from the oil pump if the bike sits for along time without riding. My mechanic says it is a gasket on the oil pump that needs replacing. If you have been looking for an original in OUTSTANDING condition this is your opportunity. These X6’s are very rare and most are in poor condition. Mine is beautiful, complete and ready to ride and show at local and national VJMC, AMCA events. Look for other motorcycles for sale from my collection in the future
