This bike is sold with a Bill of sale only I have no title or previous registration. Ebay forces you to put title status in but there is no “none” option. Sold as a Race bike. I can provide bill of sale. Some states don’t require titles for vehicles this age. Check your state laws. I am selling my Blue 1968 SUZUKI T500 T 500 COBRA MARK I / TITAN. First year for the Suzuki 500 twin 2 –stroke and the bike that started it all. The bike runs great and is incredibly fast. This bike was setup and built for drag racing over 35 years ago and it is period correct. This is NOT a cheap thrown together weekend race bike. This is a quality build. The previous owner bought the bike in 1976 and he was the second owner. He raced the bike for several years always caring for it as you can see from the condition of it today being 45 years old. During his racing stint he acquired some trophies and was unbeatable in the 500cc class (remember these when the 2 strokes ruled the land). I believe it stayed relatively local; racing at New England drag way in NH. After he stopped racing the bike was kept covered in heated storage and still looks absolutely amazing. The bike was just freshened up and runs terrific. This bike is not presently street legal. Please read the entire ad before bidding. ENGINE:. This is a purpose built Street modified class drag racing bike. The engine has been ported to full factory road race specifications. The bike has 38mm Mukuni Carburetors and a custom racing exhaust / chambers. The chambers have removable tacked on silencers on the ends to quite it down a bit when not racing. Runs 40:1 pre-mix in the gas tank and YES there is still an operating oil injection system on the bike, check out the tiny bottle. All fluids were just changed along with new fuel lines, spark plugs and a new battery. I have a list of specs from the previous owner and will give it to the new owner. The bikes best quarter mile time was 11.52 sec @ 116MPH. The New England Dragway class record was 11.50 sec. BODY: This bike is in great shape. The fiberglass tank and seat / tail section are in near perfect condition. The paint is old but still looks great. The chrome and the bikes overall finish is still in excellent condition. Please inspect all pictures for condition. I added plenty of pictures that show everything.CHASSIS: Wheelie Bars, very cool. The wheelie bars are in excellent condition and are mounted properly. Rear continental tire has had some use and the Avon Speed master front tire is fine. The brakes work great. There is a steering dampener and it has a fork brace installed. Numbers matching bike V.I.N T500-120344 Overall this is a great Vintage racer and you just don’t see them like this anymore. The bike could easily be put back on the road with lights and a few other things. If you wanted to build a café racer you are 90% there. The motor is very powerful and really wants to go. Take it to the drag strip or put on display whatever you decide I am sure it will draw attention.I think I have gone through everything. Don’t miss out.
