Vehicle Detail

This car is suitable for restoration, and I hope that turns out to be the buyers choice. It could be used for parts or salvage, but it's a beauty, so hopefully it won't sell for scrap... This Volvo has been my daily driver until last night. There is one issue that makes her currently undriveable, and another that will need to be addressed. I have put A LOT of work into her and can give you a list of all the work that has been done. Here are the issues-- Last night the clutch pedal went all the way to the floor and wouldn't come up. I popped it back up and then it just went out. Now the pedal just dangles. You can still get it into gear and start the car, but then it wants to jump forward and go. I can get it out of the parking space, but it would be very dangerous to try and drive it, if not impossible. It will need to be towed. I'm pretty sure this is just a snapped clutch cable, but don't know for sure. There is a small leak in the fuel distributor. Most of the time when I was driving it, I couldn't even tell anything was wrong. Then other days, whenever I put the brake on, the car would die. It always started right back up, but it was frustrating sometimes. It never died while cruising--just when I would come to a stop. Other various info: Exhaust will need an overhaul eventually, the windshield washer pump needs replacing, there is a crack in the windshield, the compressor for the air conditioner doesn't work, the odometer doesn't work (mileage listed is a guess), the drivers side reverse light is missing the lens, and the body has rust in several places. On the upside, the heat is AMAZING!!! Plus, all this work has been done in the last 8 months: New Head Gasket New Master Cylinder New front struts and strut mounts All new hoses (radiator, etc) New belts including timing belt New camshaft & crankshaft seals Removed, cleaned, and replaced original fuel injectors Serviced taillights -- all working Alternator bushings (belts were squealing because alternator was wobbly) Tune-up, timing adjustment, etc. New wiper blades Rust-wise, there are some flakes on the hood and patches on the rocker panels and I think one on each door. The major one is the driver rear panel which has rusted through into the trunk. It was hard to get great pictures today because it is wedged between two cars in my parking lot, but if you'd like other shots -- the engine, the rusted spots, etc, let me know. I will try to take some tomorrow regardless, and add them. If you are local, you can set up a time to come and see it as well. Thanks!
