Up for auction is a 1992 Geo Metro Convertible.It runs and drives great with no mechanical issues. I just had the driver's cv axle replaced about two weeks ago. It is a manual 5 speed and it shifts through all the gears smoothly. The odometer shows 92k miles which I believe to be original. The paint is new and looks good. There are two spots of rust on the floor boards, one on the passenger and one on the driver's side. The frame is solid though. The exhaust is in great shape and looks like it has been replaced. One side of the rear bumper hangs a little lower, I assuming a couple of the clips holding it are loose. The top was replaced about two years ago and is in good condition. The interior could use restored. The seats are stained as well as the carpet. Some of the plastic trim is loose. I just replaced the inside and outside door handle on the passenger side( I did not replace the lock on the outside though). The shocks that hold the trunk open need to be replaced. The a/c is not blowing cold but the heat works good. It is only blowing out the defrost, I believe it is just the plastic knob on the climate control that needs replaced. The tires all have good tread and hold air, but they are starting to show some weather cracking. It has an old Jensen cassette player that still works but the speakers are original and could use replacing for some better quality ones. This would be a great car to finish restoring or drive as-is and save a bunch of moeny on gas (40 mpg+).I have tried to describe the car as best I can but I encourage you to inspect the car before you buy and feel free to ask any questions.
