Vehicle Detail
2001 BMW X5 3.0i, 5 speed automatic, black exterior with tan leather and approximately 147k miles. Same owner since 2007/53k miles with all service and maintenance history. Never smoked in and garage kept. No accidents or body damage, tow hitch, premium package. No missing pixels on dash or radio. This is a clean, all stock X5 with service history that has been well maintained. Gets between 18 - 23 MPG and comfortably seats five adults. Clean title in hand. This has been my personal vehicle since the summer of 2007. Bought it at 53,000 miles, private sale from someone in Vermont. I have studded snow tires on BMW factory wheels that are currently on the vehicle. The summer tires were new last year and are included. This X5 just passed a State inspection a few weeks ago and is reliable and road worthy. Synthetic oil has always been used, the brake fluid was flushed in 2010, all options work. The body is in above average condition for the age with no dents or rust. Interior is in good shape with some scuffs and nicks from family use. Occasional pets have ridden in the back. Recent service work include upper and lower radiator hoses, thermostat and water pump, expansion tank, coolant flush, driver's door handle (a weak spot on these cars), oil stand gasket (still have a small oil leak that I have yet to track down), rear control arm bushings (this X5 has coil springs and not the costly airbags that many have), four wheel alignment, headlights polished, front drive axles and probably some other items. Only issue I am aware of are the rear sub frame bushings are likely due for replacement (I have the bushings if you want them). Feel free to ask about any other repairs or questions. All in all, it's been a good vehicle and is still a pleasure to drive but our family has outgrown it and so it's time to sell.
