1971 TRIUMPH T100 DAYTONA SPORT This T100 is a completely custom chopper. This bike seems to have been built in the 70's. The frame has been modified around the neck to fit the coffin tank and the rear section has also been customized and made into a rigid frame. The front fork seems to about 4-6 inches over. The seat is a king/queen with black and white diamond pattern. I rescued this bike from the back of someones shop. It had been sitting a very long time Last ran around 1982. The motor was partially apart. I cleaned up as much of the bike that I could. The frame has some scratches that I touched up. The chrome cleaned up okay and some is pitted or peeling. I have rewired the entire electrical system and installed a battery, regulator, and Sparx electronic ignition system. The carbs, which are dual Mikunis, have been cleaned and re-jetted. The tank is clean and has new fuel lines with filters. I also inspected and cleaned the clutch plates. The tires hold air. The brakes work. The lights, horn and gauges work as well. This bike has been on a reliability run and the motor, clutch and trans all work and sound as they should. This bike is a 40+ year old bike and I do believe it to be all original from that time period out side of the new electronics. It does leak and smoke but it starts on one or two kicks. The title will read MILES EXEMPT because of age. Since the frame has been customized the vin on the frame is no longer visible. The title does match the vin on the motor. I don't believe it to be a problem as most older bikes did not have vins on the frame till around 1970. So you are getting a clean title that does match a number on the bike.
