Beckley’s Frequently Asked Questions page eBay office hours: Monday-Friday, 9am – 6pm ITEM DESCRIPTION I’m a Dodge guy, and I own a truck very similar to this so I know them very well. For the year, and the generation of truck, this one is in very nice shape. It has a couple of the typical flaws that are common on these 94-02 models, but none are as bad as some I’ve seen – and a lot of them aren’t even an issue on this truck. If you know these trucks – and a lot of people do, they’re great trucks and very popular – you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about here. First is the dashboard – this one is in great shape! The whole interior, actually, is in great shape – the seat fabric, the plastic trim, the center armrest, ALL of it looks great. The only two things inside that aren’t great are, the radio (it turns on but doesn’t want to turn up so you can hear it), and the section of cloth you climb over to get into the drivers seat has some tearing. The tearing is a common issue – my personal truck has some stitching there to hold it together, and a lot of people just put seat covers on (a nice inexpensive solution). But that’s it. The gauges work, the accessories work (power windows/locks/mirrors/keyless entry/etc), the overhead display works, the a/c could use a Freon recharge but the fan sounds (and blows) great – this will make someone a great truck. The body is typical for a 94-02, but again – not nearly as bad as some I’ve seen. There’s a little rust starting at the bottom of the doors, and at the very tops of the wheel openings. The back bumper has some rust. But, that’s about it. There’s a single scrape on the drivers rear corner, and a couple dings here and there that are normal for a 166k mile truck, but the paint looks basically good – nowhere near as bad as some, where it simply fades away. It looks like they kept this one nicely waxed and clean throughout its life. Other than that one scrape, I didn’t see any body damage and it also looks good underneath with only some surface discoloration on the frame – a quick coat of spray undercoating will seal that right up for the new owner, and get you years of service out of the truck. The floors are clean and solid, and it has some nice Mopar (Dodge) tubular side steps as well. It runs great – the 360 gas motor makes good power, doesn’t smoke or rattle, and starts right up even in the cold. The transmission and 4x4 transfer case both shift just like they should, and the 4x4 does work. The aluminum wheels look great, and the tires have even tread…but it’s getting a little thin so I’d plan on new tires before too long. The good news is, you can get whatever you want this way – as aggressive as you want, depending if you’re going to use it as a commuter / work truck, or just a snow playtoy. There’s plenty of room for big knobby tires if you want to do that, and lift kits are easy to find for these trucks if you want to go really big. We have not state inspected this truck – that’s how we’re able to advertise it for such a low price, we haven’t put a ton of work into it. It’s a nice, low-priced work truck or snow truck. If you live in Maryland and want us to inspect it, it will be in addition to the purchase price – just like it would for anyone out of state, because they’ll have to pay for their state’s inspection after they buy it anyway. But I think it’s going to make someone a great truck, and is definitely worth picking up and fixing up. It doesn’t need much – one fog light is out and the tires are thin, but that’s all I’ve noticed so far – and whether you want to tow a camper, carry work stuff, pull a boat up and down a boat ramp, or just have a “spare” vehicle for bad weather…this one will do great for you! Like I said, I love these trucks – my ’01 has nearly 225k miles on it and its still going strong. There’s plenty of life left in this ol’ girl, and with the price we have, it won’t break the bank! If you’re interested, and close enough to do so, come by for a test drive. I’m happy to step away from the computer for a little bit to take a drive in the truck. I know you’ll be impressed – it’s not a brand new truck with satellite radio or built in navigation…but it does everything you need a truck to do, and it doesn’t come with a “new truck price”. For more details click HERE eBay office hours: Monday-Friday, 9am – 6pm LEGAL STUFF We reserve the right to end any auction early due to a local sale. By placing a bid on any auction run by beckleysrvs, you certify that you have read, understand, and agree to all terms and conditions located on the Beckley’s Frequently Asked Questions page, in our eBay store. To try and keep my auction layouts as clean as possible for my bidders, all the legal-ese is on the Frequently Asked Questions page. That way, it doesn’t clutter up the auction listing you’re reading now. Just so there is NO confusion about this item or about our policies and practices, please – 1. Read the page. 2. Read this entire auction listing CAREFULLY. 3. Use common sense. 4. If you have any questions after you have read everything…ASK ME. If you ask a question that’s answered on the FAQ page…my reply will be a link to that page, so please make sure to read it before you email me. eBay office hours: Monday-Friday, 9am – 6pm STILL HAVE QUESTIONS? If you have read my auction listing, and you have looked at my photo gallery, and you have read the information on our Frequently Asked Questions page, and you still have questions – send me an email. The most reliable method is to click the “Ask Seller a Question” link at the top left corner of this auction listing. Please – don’t ask what the reserve is…just like the big-name live auctions, we don’t give those out. If you have questions about a listing that has ended, please – TELL ME WHAT THE ITEM IS. eBay’s system does not give me any item information if you ask about an auction that is over. All I get is “so-and-so asked a question”. Unless you TELL ME, I have no idea what you’re asking about. EMAIL IS ALWAYS THE MOST RELIABLE WAY TO REACH ME. If you prefer phone contact, you can call 800-296-6959 and ask for Joe in eBay sales. Chances are I won’t be at my desk, since I take all my own photos, check all my own units personally so I can write the ads myself, and work with all my buyers personally when they come to pick up their purchases…but if you leave a detailed message for me and ask your questions in the message, I will find answers for you and get you those answers as soon as I can. eBay office hours: Monday-Friday, 9am – 6pm THANK YOU FOR VISITING!! I appreciate you taking the time to view my item. To see everything I currently have listed, click the “see other items” link at the top right corner of this listing. Good luck, and HAPPY BIDDING!!! eBay office hours: Monday-Friday, 9am – 6pm
