I am selling my 2006 Audi A6 4.2 S-Line Prestige; I have had this car for 2 years and have it immaculately maintained at Audi Jacksonville, FL until my recent move to NC. This is the AWD Quattro Model with the 4.2L V8. I have all of the keys that came from the manufacturer (2x Proximity keys, a valet key and an emergency wallet key) Seems like to good of a deal? Here the bad: The 20" rims have a few scuffs on them (don't let you girlfriend drive your car....), the passenger side door speaker is blown, and the transmission has started to hard shift in 3rd and 4th, it has been doing it about 5k miles. This is the primary reason I am getting rid of the car, as I purchased a new car, and don't want to put the time and $$ into any repair, no matter if its a sensor, or whatever! I am not sure why it is hard shifting, my local mechanic has found no fault codes and told me he would have to pull the tranny to see (I am not interested in taking it to that level), so I am prepared to let her go at a very reasonable price, in the event you will have to make any repairs. please do not bid if you don't want to buy, my last buyer flaked.... in response to many questions: 1. Yes, the car is running and driving with no motor issues (or otherwise). This was my daily driver until last week when I purchased a replacement vehicle. 2. I don't know what is causing the shifting issues; I took it to an import shop (no Audi dealer around here) where they ran a diagnostic (VAG_COM), however, there were no codes displayed. In addition, the info block is showing no fault codes either. 3. You could drive it home, however, I was not comfortable driving out of town, as I don't know the issue. Once again, it runs and drives...although with some discomfort when it shifts. 4. The lowering was done by Audi Jacksonville.
