Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1990 Honda accord lx coupe. This car has been a great car for the time I've owned it. It is very reliable, I would drive it back and fourth from Massachusetts which was 210 miles 1 way. For the past couple of months I was averaging about 800 miles per week on this car and I would make it every time with no problem. I have taken very good care of this care and thought I would have it longer I also use to drive it on routes for my job driving to different cities hours on end. It has always gotten me from point A to point B. It gets great mileage too with around 24mpg city and 33hwy. This car is even great in the snow. Here is a list of parts that have been replaced with new since I've owned the car in the past year: New belts, new oil pan (and gasket), new header, new flex pipe, new front cross drilled and slotted rotors, all new Michelin Defender tires, new rack and pinion, new tie rod ends (inner and outer),all new motor mounts, new intake manifold gasket, new head gasket along with a new water pump and timing belt kit, new valve cover gasket, new thermostat, the alternator looks like the previous owner swapped it out as well as the distributor, I put a new cap and rotor on anyway when I did a tune up, new NGK plugs and wires, new fuel pressure regulator, new fuel injectors, new pcv valve, new throttle body gasket, new idle air control valve, new stabilizer bushings, new upper control arms and ball joints, new front hub bearings, new head light assemblies, new turn signal assemblies (black housing). Most of the coolant lines have been changed along with the power steering lines. New Kenwood radio installed, I still have the stock one if you prefer that but the Kenwood is much better. The car was repainted at one point but I don't know when. It looks decent for the year. The rims are Plasti Dipped black which can be removed, usually in one sheet to reveal the nice near new looking stock grey hub caps. The grill and emblems are also black Plasti Dip. Tint on the car is 20% front and side and 5% rear window, all flawless with no bubbles. Now for the bad, there is a slight oil leak (slow, no cracks in the block), the power door locks do not work but you can still lock and unlock the doors manually (you just need to change the control module in the door if you want to fix them I've seen them on eBay for $40), there is a little bit of the famous Honda rust on the wheel wells, has a slight exhaust leak and just recently acquired a idle surging problem that seems to be intermittent. The car runs and drives good its just when your idling that it has this problem. Please ask any questions you may have, If you want to see the car in person we can set something up. I am in Massachusetts during the week and in NY on weekends so I'm somewhat flexible with where I'm willing to bring the car. I will be trying to answer questions as quick as they come. Happy bidding.
