Just in time for Christmas!!! This item is being relisted because the buyer, 66minna (42*), never paid and was issued a non-paying bidder censure from Ebay. You are bidding on this 1959 Chevrolet Impala 4 Door Sport Sedan Hard Top (Flat Top) (VERY RARE) I have moved to Oklahoma and can not bring the car with me otherwise I would definitely keep it! I do not have time to mess around with non-paying bidders so DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU HAVE FULL INTENT TO PAY! I will issue negative feedback and report non-payers immediately! It has the intact 283 V8 engine with 37,913.9 miles (may have turned over, may have not I don't know for sure). Has the intact Power Glide (automatic)Transmission. ALL of the CHROME TRIM--INCLUDING hub caps are present--so you won't have to look for extra parts or missing chrome trim pieces (which can be both time consuming and expensive)!!! Has an older restoration, but could use a new one as the paint is diminished and is flaking in some areas. It needs a new Generator/Alternator as the one in it has gone bad. The Brakes need to be bled. Has a cracked left rear passenger window that has fallen off its tracks. Vehicle starts!! The car will stay started for as long as the charged battery will keep it started (because of the generator issue). Other than that, the car has been garage kept for the past 10+ years and is in pretty good condition for being nearly 55 years old! Has normal surface rust on the undercarriage from not being driven in several years. This vehicle is ready to see the open road again! It can be a small project or a total restoration, depending on how far you want to go with it!! Comes with one original key and two spare blanks. New battery purchased in 7/2011. Has a new gas tank which was installed in Summer of 2009. This vehicle also comes with trailer hitch connections which are original (and rare) and are attached to the rear bumper as visible in one of the pictures. It could use two new floor pans for the front, and possibly a new floor pan for the trunk the trunk floor looks average though. (these issues are completely normal for a 55 year old car!), also has some pinhole rust on the passenger side rocker panel. Buyer (you) will be responsible for all shipping and/or picking up costs.
