1968 Amc AMX project car all original, including motor trans and posi rear. This is a very rare car, it's a 4 speed, 290 Typhoon V-8, posi rear.Only 525 were made with this combination, out of only 3600 or so that was made in 68. The motor was professionally rebuilt top to bottom, balanced, big lumpy cam, heavy duty comp valve springs,30 over, roller rocker arms, heads rebuilt as well and a new aluminum intake, well over 375 hp.There is a new pair of headers, and the four speed trans was gone over by previous owner. The body is in excellent condition, just spent 5500 on the body and paint. Bumpers are decent, grille decent with all the proper brackets,trim is mostly all there, but all in very nice condition. Have new master cylinder, needs ends put on two brake lines up top by master cylinder. Have useable door panels and seats, but I would re do them for a nice street car. Car needs headliner, some interior trim missing, carb, radiator hoses, and small misc. parts. The body is very nice, paint is very nice, but not a trailer queen. The floors have a few small metal patches welded in nicely, frame is super solid. This is a real nice father son street car project, that needs some assembly and some misc. parts. Car is sold as is, clear PA title with mileage exempt due to age. I can't say the miles are original or not. This is a very nice driver, not a perfect show car.
