Vehicle Detail

2008 Audi R8 V8 Heffner Twin Turbo 6-speed manual, 18,xxx Miles, Original Owner, 630hp/525tq, Michelin Pilot Super Sports$32,000 in upgrades, Just Detailed. No Reserve! Full Leather InteriorCD/Aux portNavigationB&O Premium Sound SystemBack-up CameraFront & Rear Parking Sensors630hp Heffner Twin Turbo I'm selling my Phantom Black R8 with Lava Grey sideblades. I've owned it since new. It's a 6-speed manual with 18,xxx miles and a Heffner Twin Turbo kit. Car is in good condition inside and out and runs great. The kit had roughly 3K miles on it and was completed in early Jan 2011. Cost of the kit was $32,000. I'm selling because I've had it a while and just time to move on to something else. The car is located in South East Michigan. Car has been more or less bullet proof over the years and was only in the the shop for regular maintenance, a couple sensors needing to be reset, a small seat belt fix, and initially some R8's made a noise in the sideblade area at high speeds that was fixed. This was common in early cars. It's been probably the most reliable car we've ever had. The car has a couple cosmetic blemishes. Few small spots from stones/debris, some scrapes on the front bumper from driveways and such, and a small stone nick on the windshield. Wheels have some rash. I'd say it's typical of a car that has seen 18K miles. I got a quote from the local shop that said the bumper could be resprayed for about $1K. Windshield just needs of one those stone fix things you've seen in parking lots, and the wheels could easily be brought up to snuff by any good wheel refurbishing place for a few hundred. The car should probably have an oil change too, in my opinion. Just keep that stuff in mind when making an offer. I always planned on getting it all fixed, but driving it regularly I just never really noticed or cared. Having the bumper resprayed when I was bound to scrape it again at some point just didn't make any sense. I planned on doing it before selling it, but I just ran out of time and now it is winter. I did make sure it was detailed the very last morning before I hopped on a plane to Europe though, so the detail is fresh and can be seen in pictures below. The car has just been detailed and really only needs a vacuum of the inside. Aside from the cosmetic blemishes, it looks great and they really aren't even something you'll notice much. I've never launched the car and the clutch feels like it always has. Tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sports with only a couple thousand miles on them. I have a set of Toyo R888's with some mileage on them that I'll also throw in if you want them. I don't recall how they look off hand, but I took them off because I thought they were too loud. If you want em, they're yours. Just make sure the shipping is taken care of. A lot of the miles are from longer road trips like Chicago, Montreal, NY, etc. I probably put 10K miles on it the first year then maybe 2-3K miles per year after that. The kit is rated at about 630hp and 525hp to the wheels if I recall correctly. I've never launched the car, but I have some VBOX numbers from another owner who did. It should be a bit quicker than the V10 and the LP560. Sounds and drives awesome too. An impromptu go at it with a full tank of gas and hot/humid conditions with stock tires: 0-60: 3.5s60-130: 9s1/4: 11.9s @ 125mph He said you could easily chop .5s off those times with some practice and better conditions, though I never bothered to try because I have little interest in drag racing. Feels great by the seat of the pants at more normal driving speeds. It's hard to get a feel for the performance based on the typical numbers being that so many cars use such advance launch control these days. It was definitely quicker than the local V10 I lined up with from a roll, and while I didn't have them side by side, it pulled harder than the LP560 I drove. I don't have the sticker on the car anymore, but I paid $132K when I bought it new. The Heffer TT was another $32K. Car has full leather interior, B&O system, CD/DVD, AUX port, navigation, front and rear parking sensors, and rear view camera. If it sounds like I might be missing something, feel free to ask and I'll let you know. It was fully loaded at the time of purchase except the headliner. I'm asking $98,000, but feel free to make any offers you want. If you don't like the price, offer one you do. I'll entertain all offers so long as they are reasonable. Car is located in SE Michigan and I will help coordinate shipping as best I can. Car is listed on more than just eBay and I will take the first acceptable offer I get and will sell immediately. I require a non-refundable $2,000 deposit upon accepting your offer. Too many times do people not have funding in order and deals fall through. I will do whatever it takes to get you the car as quickly and smoothly as possible, thus I ask that you be just as serious about buying it and have everything ready on your end as well. As always, the car is sold as-is. Please ask questions and/or come see it for yourself for any verification. Thanks for looking and feel free to ask anything you want. I'll try to respond as quickly as possible. As for pictures, here are two sets. The first were done by my detailer a few thousand miles ago just before turbos went on. The second set was done this past September. The reason I'm including some older ones is because they are better quality one that are more representative of the car. It hasn't changed much since then. The second set was just taken by my detailers with his phone. I had to catch a plane the morning he was doing it, so I left before I could take better quality ones. But yeah, I think it looks more or less the same. Hasn't been driven since then. First set:
