Just in time for Christmas!!! You are bidding on this 1959 Chevrolet Impala 4 Door Sport Sedan Hard Top (Flat Top) (VERY RARE) This vehicle has been garage-kept for 10 + years and is ready to see the open road again! It can be a small project or a total restoration, depending on how far you want to go with it!! It has the intact 283 V8 Engine with 37,913 miles(May or may not have turned over, I've put about 100 miles on it since I bought it in 2009). Also has the intact Power Glide (Automatic) Transmission. It starts and will be drivable once the brakes are bled and it gets a new/different Generator. It needs a new generator (or alternator conversion) as the generator that is in it is bad. Comes with one original key and two spare blanks. Has a new battery which I bought in 7/2011. Has normal undercarriage surface rust. Has a new gas tank which was installed in Summer of 2009. This vehicle also comes with trailer hitch connections which are original and attached to the rear bumper and is visible in one of the pictures. It needs two new floor pans for the front, and a new floor pan for the trunk (which is completely normal for a 55 year old car!), also has some pinhole rust on the passenger side rocker panel. Has some sporadical surface rust and/or paint flaking in which primer shows through. All of the glass and Chrome (which by the way, the chrome is hard to find and can be very expensive) are intact and in good condition except the driver side and left rear passenger windows, which are cracked, but not shattered. The rear bumper has about a 6" patch in which the chrome is degraded (perhaps from an old bumper sticker at some point in its life). Buyer will be responsible for shipping and/or picking up. Vehicle is located in Scottsbluff, Nebraska 69361. Has a clear title that will be given upon pick up or can be mailed via USPS Certified Mail.
