1987 Chevrolet Silverado, Short Wheel Base, 4WD, V10/K10, regular cab with black exterior/interior. This truck is loaded with several factory options, plus has had several thousand in restoration performed by certified mechanics. This truck has 160k original miles which isn't bad for a 26 year old truck (6,200k per year average). It has had a frame-off restoration done by the previous owner and drives better than it did when new. It starts quickly, idles smoothly, and the transmission shifts flawlessly (including the passing gear). As you can see, most everything on this truck has been replaced or upgraded and it has been well taken care of since 1987. Being active duty military, a full-time student, and a father, I no longer have the time to truly enjoy and have decided to list it for sale. These models are becoming hard to find especially in this condition, because most require around 20-25k in restoration. The frame is solid, straight, and rust free. The Silverado does not have any leaks, because most all seals have been changed. Both dual fuel tanks work perfectly, along with the 4WD system. It is street legal with a current WV state modified inspection sticker. The title is clean, but not clear, because the truck was financed to help offset the costs of parts and labor! Therefore, USAA holds the title, so a notarized bill-of-sale will be given to the buyer, along with the truck and both keys, until the title is received in the mail. I have most all receipts showing work and service. All fluids has been regularly changed, including both engine & transmission filter/fluid along with gear fluid. Truck was just thoroughly inspected and tuned by an local ASE Certified Chevrolet Master Mechanic. Truck was built for show and is adult owned by a nonsmoker. It has never been abused or even off-road and is extremely reliable and used occasionally as a daily driver. I would not think twice to drive it anywhere! NOTE: This truck is able to run military Humvee tires (37's) which are Goodyear radial tires and cost a fraction of the price of non-military tires (400 a set compared to 400-500 per tire).
