Fairly original driver. Body exterior in good shape, older repaint. Some lacquer checking in rear, small rust bubble developing at trunk lip and l/r fender rear lip. Engine was rebuilt approx. 6-8 years ago, it purrs nicely! Trans is tight and shifts smoothly. Brakes were completely redone about five years ago and has been sitting in the garage for the last four years, new wheel cylinders, shoes and rear brake lines replaced. The shoes need to be adjusted. Brakes work, just could work a little better. Like I said, paint looks awesome from 30 feet away, the interior is what needs work, seat is there but cover is toast, has sheet over it now so I can drive it. Door panels are not original, headliner is gone, but all the bows are there. Drivers foot area has a spot of rust through, that panel unbolts and a repro is about $120. Trunk seal leaked and has 5-6 small bad spots on trunk pan, that panel is about $180 and will have to be cut out and welded. Tires are bias ply and old, they show weather checking and cracks. Would recommend replacing before driving long distance. I bought to make a street rod and have had a real hard time cutting up an original car. Car has not been cut up it is about 99% original, Due to lack of rust, I am guessing it has been a California car most of its life. The cowl vent has leaked and the trunk seal, so has a little bit of rust inside, not so much outside. So, I am selling it and will find something different. Fuel guage, amp guage and oil pressure guage were replaced, have new temp guage (NOS) in the box, just not installed. Speedo was replaced at sometime, but does not currently work. Has the special deluxe radio grille in it currently, have an old original radio that fits, don't know if it works or not. Have original radio delete panel that goes with car. The original Plymouth badge has come off and is in box in trunk. The only piece of exterior trim missing is the lower center "V" under the hood, should be able to see in pics. Car is original 6-volt positive ground electrical system. Foot push button starter. Plates are California 1941 and are registered to car. Currently is non-op thru DMV. Car roads nice, steers and shifts smoothly. For not much effort this could be a real nice daily driver. Or, drop a 5.7 late model hemi in it with an AOD and get after it !!!!!!!!! I am listing with no reserve, so bid if you want it. I am not interested in trades or lowballs. I have another dozen projects right now and if it doesn't sell, I'll put it back in the garage.
